"...proving that this is very Christ." _ Acts 9:22
"...proving that this is very Christ." _ Acts 9:22

Colossians 3:4  When Christ, [who is] our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

What a powerful verse!  No wonder Isaiah asked, "Who hath believed our report?"  Once we have given our hearts to the Lord Jesus Christ and are filled and led of His Spirit, He becomes our Life!  We begin to live out of the power of an endless Life of our great High Priest where death no longer reigns, rules or exists.  Often when the Scriptures speak of His appearing, many have been taught that it is a one-time future event.  The word appear means to make that which has been hidden or unknown manifest or visible whether by words, or deeds, or in any other way.  Christ can be exposed to view, thoroughly understood and plainly recognized when seen through the eyes of His Holy Spirit.

Our words and deeds should reflect His glory.  This is a fact that cannot yield to anything less. When Jesus served in His earthly ministry, He said, "Believe me that I [am] in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake - John 14:11."  His ministry so obviously reflected the will of the Father in both Word and Deed.  In light of all that is done in the name of ministry today, we see very little of Christ and Father.  Be filled with His Spirit!
