APRIL 30TH
THREE-FOLD RESURRECTION (Continued)

The full grown man is the final stage of spiritual development we shall endeavor to gain insight into.  Let us quickly review only a few verses from John Chapter Eleven.  Verses 39-44 read:
11:39 Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been [dead] four days.
11:40 Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?
11:41 Then they took away the stone [from the place] where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up [his] eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me.
11:42 And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the people which stand by I said [it], that they April believe that thou hast sent me.
11:43 And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth.
11:44 And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go.

Corruption had time to set in with Lazarus.  This was not the case with Jairus’s little daughter and the young man who was the son of the widow of Nain.  This view of the resurrection of the full grown man wherein lies corruption will help us gain insight into the Power of His Resurrection.  This was Paul’s cry even after personally meeting the Resurrected Christ.  Oh that we April all know Him and the Power of His Resurrection!

The full grown man speaks to spiritual maturity.  Maturity in the spirit means absolutely no works of the flesh.  Jesus moved out into His earthly ministry only after passing every test of the flesh that He was driven by the Spirit to overcome.  Praise God for the Ministry of the Holy Ghost.  The lusts of the flesh circumvent the walk in the Spirit.  We have to pass the tests of the lust of the eyes and of the flesh and the great granddaddy of them all, the pride of life.  The full grown son like Abraham knows at this point it is all Father’s will and good pleasure or nothing at all.  These tests are passed only in Christ.  Any single-handed, lone ranger, or rogue effort on our part is sudden disaster.  Through our God we shall do valiantly.  Our lives are hidden with Christ in God at this point.  Corruption has put on Incorruption, and He is magnificent in His splendor.  Death, where is thy sting?  Death, hell and the grave have surrendered fully to Christ in Whom sons are clothed!  All grave clothes have been cast off.  Hallelujah!  Every crown is cast before Him!

Notice Jesus did not lift the full grown man neither did he touch the place where he lay.  He simply spoke the Language of Resurrection Life by the Spirit and said, Lazarus, Come forth.  Come forth means literally to come hither or come out.  Lazarus obeyed.
