"...proving that this is very Christ." _ Acts 9:22
"...proving that this is very Christ." _ Acts 9:22

May 8th

On February 2, 2014, I awoke to the Voice of God Who said within my spirit, "The king/priest ministry can only be accomplished through the Spirit because it is eternal." Eternal means without beginning or end as our Lord is called of God a Priest forever after the order of Melchizedek. Hebrews 7:3 declares of Melchizedek that He is without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually.

This jolting Word reminded me of the trespass of Uzziah, a king who prospered mightily as long as he sought the Lord. The time came when King Uzziah’s pride caused him to violate the office of the priest, and he became a leper and remained so until his death. The King/Priest ministry can never be executed in the flesh. When God said, "Not by might nor power but by My Spirit," that is precisely what He meant. Flesh is the enemy of the spirit and can never please God or minister grace to others.

John was in the spirit on the Lord’s Day and declared, "And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, and hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen (Revelation 1:5-6). Hebrews 9:14 reads, "How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God." Christ Jesus offered Himself spotless to God through "the eternal Spirit." May we assess our ministries today no matter what area in life and determine whether or not we live in and by the Spirit. Otherwise, the eternal Power of Resurrection Life is not flowing.
