PRESSING INTO THE KINGDOM (Continued)
Scripture Reading I Corinthians 15:24-28
15:24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.
15:25 For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.
15:26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.
15:27 For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are
put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.
15:28 And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.
Jesus arose with all power and authority and is seated at the right hand of power.
At the Name of Jesus, every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that He is Lord.
From the vantage point of the heavenlies and the power of His Cross, He has put all things under His feet. Psalm 8:6 declared it. God’s Word (Jesus) did not return to Him void but accomplished all He sent It to do. If we could only reckon it to be so instead of “going to be” so.
An enemy is an opposing force. As Christ reigns in our lives all this within us that oppose His glorious nature will be
put under His feet. The mistake often made is to externalize Scriptures that speak of an enemy; however, until are consciences are completely purged from sin and our carnal notions and actions
end, we are opposing our Blessed Lord. May He be all in in all in our lives!
